साल के वन वाष के बाद अयोध्या आय थे तो नगर वाशियों ने अपने भगवन राम माता सीता व लक्ष्मण जी का पूर्ण मनभावानाओ से दिपमालाय जलाकर आदर सत्कार किया था कहा जाता है की इसी दिन भगवन क्रष्ण ने भी राक्षस नरकासुर का वध किया था | प्रभु राम के चोह्द वर्ष वन में काटने के दुःख को भुलाकर नगर वासियों ने पुरे नगर में दीप जलाकर जीवन में फिर से ख़ुशी का दर्पण देखा था मन जाता है की जब भगवन राम अयोध्या से चोह्द साल के लिय वन वाष गय थे तो लोगो को अपना जीवन अंधकार में जीने जैसा प्रतीत होता था | भगवान् राम व माता सीता और लक्ष्मण जी के चोह्द वर्ष वन वाष से आने का इंतजार नगर वालो को चोह्द वर्षो से था मान्यताओ के अनुसार पुरे ब्रह्मांड में एक ही राजपरिवार ऐसा था जो वचन बद था तबी कहते है रघुकुल रित सदा चली आए  प्राण जाय पर वचन ना जाए
